Goodmorning babes. This week I have a short trendwatch post for you prepared. Whenever I walk into stores like Bershka and Pull and Bear lately, I’ve been noticing a new trend that I just needed to try out: sheer fabrics in combination with a dress. Want to see how I styled this sheer dress? Let’s have a look together.

sheer dress

The first time I saw this type of dress in store I wondered… “How the hell am I going to wear this without flashing too much?” The fashion industry has been experimenting with showing skin for a while now (see the ripped jeans trend or the bondage trend) and slowly but surely, we start to see this trend on the streets too.

Bralette or not?

sheer dessI wasn’t brave enough to wear a bralette underneath this sheer dress. In stead, I just paired it with a classic black top and my favorite pair of black skinny jeans. But you could do this, like many other people do:

Here is an example from Stradivarius (aka my favorite store in the whole wide world). Especially for a party, this could be a really nice way to show some skin without it being too much.

I got this dress from Romwe. Remember my review from a few weeks ago? I need to take my words back. I ordered this dress, and it arrived within 4 days, which is amazingly fast. I guess delivery can vary from a few days to a few weeks.

I like this trend because it changes a subtle, all-black outfit into something interesting. it gives you that extra special touch without being too “loud”. What do you think? Will you be wearing a sheer dress soon?

Let me know!

As always,

Have a nice day
