H ello lovely readers. As I am writing this, it is cloudy and stormy outside, which as you could see is not the case on my pictures. Who else wonders where summer has gone so fast? But anyway, I’ve got a new post for you this week and it’s all about the Wrap Shirt: a trend I’ve been seeing in a lot of stores during summer. This post will tell you three ways you can tie a wrap shirt, so you can change it up now and then. Let’s go!
I’ve gotten this new Wrap Shirt from Romwe and as I was playing around with it, I figured out a few different ways to wear it. It’s always fun to be creative with clothing, so why not share my findings? ?
1. The Normal Knot
This is the most obvious way of styling your wrap shirt. It’s also how it’s presented on the webshop where I got this from. You can wear it with the knot in front of your belly, like I did, or you can wear it on the side if you don’t want to accentuate your belly. This style is effortless and easy, perfect for a day out with friends.
2. Knot in the Back
Another way to wear the wrap shirt is to tie a knot in the back. You might need a little help with this as tying a know behind you is a bit tricky. I think my mom did a pretty job with the knot hehe. This style is more chic than no.1. You can wear it casual with a pair of jeans, but you can also make it look classy with a midi-skirt or even a longer skirt under it. Maybe a nice idea for a garden party or something alike?
3. The Belt
This last one is my favorite! It only works if the straps are long enough though, so if you’re looking for a shirt to do this with, I recommend buying this one, or try it out in store to make sure you can wrap it around your hips. The trick is to cross it in the back and then put the straps through the loops of your jeans or pants. This way you create a coord set which makes your look instantly more interesting.
